African Grey Parrot using my cell phone

Tried to catch my pair of African greys entering their nest box. I taped my Sony Xperia Z2 on the wall opposite the entry hole. First female disliked the strange object near the nest box and tried to get it off the wall, later the male came to help and managed to get it out of its territory after no one replied to his calls “halloooo…” The phone fell 2.6m down to the tiled floor and survived. Shows how this phone is durable. The camera kept going until the male came down to make sure it’s switched off. These clever birds are very secretive and like their privacy.
