mine does not talk like this. she can say a few words, but only says them while we are taking a shower together, or when I am not home (captured on video)

So my question is, I inherited a quaker that was very neglected in my opinion, really only saw people the last probably eight years of its life of 10 years when he was being fed or covered… So I’m trying to give him a much more enriched life and would like to bond with him.
